National 3 peaks challenge

  • Reg fee: £80

Challenge Overview

The national 3 Peaks challenge is an attempt to climb the three highest peaks in the UK within 24hrs. Whilst taking in the magnificent scenery these peaks and national parks have to offer. These peaks are; Ben Nevis (Scotland), Scafell Pike (England) and Snowdon, Yr Wyddfa (Wales), we complete them in that order.  Travelling first to Fort William on the Thursday, starting with Ben Nevis on the first morning, then Scafell Pike and finishing on Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa) in Wales!

Transport/transfers

  • Free Mini-bus pick up from Glasgow train station by 2pm, Friday
  • Free Mini-bus pick up at the Glasgow airport by 3pm, Friday

Trains/flights will need to have arrived in time for this pick-up

Or pick-up Saturday morning from Fort William train station 7.30am to begin challenge

Day 1 – Friday: Arrival & Welcome Briefing

  • Overnight stay in Fort William (Accommodation booked by participants to their preference, Fort William has everything from Hostels to Hotels)

Day 2 – Saturday: The Trotternish Ridge Challenge (16–18 miles)

  • Climb Ben Nevis, Fort William, Scotland
  • Transfer to Lake District
  • Climb Scafell Pike, Lake District

Day 3 – Sunday: Fairy Pools & Cuillin Foothills (8–10 miles)

  • Transfer to Snowdonia
  • Climb Snowdon, Yr Wyddfa, Snowdonia
  • Transfer back to Chester train station for onward journeys

What’s Included

  • Pick up from either Glasgow or Fort William
  • Drop off at Chester station after challenge
  • Snacks and drinks between peaks/on mini-bus

  • Dates: 12th June – 14th June
  • Timings: 12th June: arrive from London Luton 09:40, arrive 11:10 – 14th June: Return to London Luton 21:15, arrive 22:35

Challenge Overview

Two unforgettable trekking days, exploring Skye’s most iconic routes, from the dramatic Old Man of Storr and Trotternish Ridge, to the mystical Fairy Pools and rugged Cuillin foothills.

Itinerary
Day 1 – Friday: Arrival & Welcome Briefing

  • Arrive in Skye
  • Check-in at  hostel/Bunk barn accommodation
  • Evening welcome meal and safety briefing with the Endurotrek team
  • Team introductions

Day 2 – Saturday: The Trotternish Ridge Challenge (16–18 miles)

  • Early breakfast and transfer to trailhead near the Old Man of Storr
  • Trek along the spectacular Trotternish Ridge — one of the UK’s most iconic hikes
  • Summit points include the Old Man of Storr, The Quiraing, and panoramic coastal ridges
  • Fully guided and supported by Endurotrek mountain leaders
  • Return to base for hot dinner and campfire celebration

Day 3 – Sunday: Fairy Pools & Cuillin Foothills (8–10 miles)

  • Morning trek through Glen Brittle to the world-famous Fairy Pools
  • Optional cold-water dip for the brave!
  • Explore the lower slopes of the Cuillin Mountains
  • Group reflection, photos, and closing remarks
  • Afternoon departure

Challenge Overview

This is the official 24k, SAS selection route. This event is in the beautiful Brecon beacons national park. Based on minimum 12 people up to 48+ people.
The below is an itinerary including an overnight stay. However this challenge is also possible as a day trip:
