Family meet-ups
CHECT provide a fun day out with time to explore the venue, come together for lunch and an activity, as well as hosting the CHECT Champion awards! There is always time for the children to play together and for parents to chat with other families as well as relax and enjoy the day.
Online meet-ups
These vary from topic-based information sessions with guest speakers, to member meet-ups to socialise and access peer support.
Teen & Young Adult meet-ups
CHECT provide a space for teenagers and young people that have been affected by retinoblastoma to come together in a relaxed environment to socialise and take part in a fun activity that’s accessible to all!

It explains Disability Living Allowance (DLA) for Children and Personal Independence Payment (PIP) in straightforward language, helping adults, parents and carers understand eligibility, avoid common mistakes and feel more confident when completing claim forms or challenging decisions.
