CHECT Family Day at the Glasgow Science Centre, 18 November 2023
One very wet Saturday in November, Sarah and Petra travelled north of the border to meet some of our Scottish families at the Glasgow Science Centre.
The amazing venue made it well worth the trip, with loads of hands-on experiments to try, play areas to explore, and face-painting and balloon modelling too! We even had our very own room where Sheena from the Centre’s Community Team challenged us to build land yachts from Lego that would be able to use wind power to move!
After lunch we had some very special awards to give out: a CHECT Champion award to Darragh, and two Thank-You certificates to our super fundraisers Lea and Andrew.
