WHAT TO EXPECT FROM A CHECT EVENT

Family events
CHECT provide a fun day out with time to explore the venue, come together for lunch and an activity, as well as hosting the CHECT Champion awards! There is always plenty of time to chat with other families as well as relax and enjoy the day.
Beyond Rb events
CHECT provide a space for adults that have been affected by Rb to come together and chat about their experiences. Which is always accompanied by a fun activity that’s accessible to all!
Teen events
CHECT provide a space for teenagers and young people that have been affected by Rb to come together and chat about their experiences. Which is always accompanied by a fun activity that’s accessible to all!
Online events
A platform to learn more about CHECT, listen to guest speakers, access peer and professional support, and socialise.

Come and join CHECT for a family day out at the National Space Centre in Leicester. We’ll be kicking the day off with a rocket themed craft activity, followed by our CHECT champion awards. Bring your own packed lunch to re-fuel between activities!

Come and join our Christmas party at the Brady Arts and Community Centre in London for our next family event. It’s just around the corner from the Royal London Hospital! Unfortunately, because of limited capacity, on this occasion we will have to limit tickets to two adults per family.

Join us for a special online event with Dr Helen Jenkinson from Birmingham Women’s & Children’s Hospital and Dr Cat Duncan from Great Ormond Street Hospital speaking about what to expect when your child finishes their retinoblastoma treatment.

This event is most suitable for families within the first year or two after finishing treatment
