Christmas is the perfect time to raise funds for a good cause and there are so many fun and different ways to take part.

Below, we’ve listed some of our favourite festive fundraising ideas and don’t forget, we’re here to help you every step of the way. If you would like to support CHECT, we would be delighted to send you a fundraising pack – request yours today!

However you choose to get involved this Christmas, the money you raise will help us to make sure that we’re there for anyone affected by retinoblastoma when they need us. Thanks so much for your support. Happy Christmas!

Santa Run

What better way to get into the Christmas spirit than joining hundreds of people in Father Christmas costumes for a Santa Run?

With varying distances to suit all abilities, every penny you raise in sponsorship will help CHECT support more families. There are runs throughout the UK, so please contact us today for a list of ones near you.

Festive fancy dress day

This is great for schools, colleges, clubs and at work. Simply invite everyone to don their best Christmas jumper, reindeer antlers or tinsel earrings in exchange for a donation to CHECT.

Christmas cake bake

From a festive themed bake-off competition, to a bring-and-buy cake sale, whichever you choose you’ll be sure to brighten everyone’s day with so many tasty treats!

Deck the desks

Liven up your office and hold a Christmas desk decorating competition. Ask your colleagues to make a donation to enter, and then award a small prize like chocolates, wine or a certificate.

If you have any more Christmas fundraising ideas, or you’re planning to support CHECT this festive season, we would absolutely love to hear from you. Please give us a ring on 020 7377 5578 or email Eve, our Fundraising Manager, at eve.holdsworth@chect.org.uk.
