The Childhood Eye Cancer Trust has been shortlisted for an Aviva Community Fund award – and we really need your help to make sure we win it.

All you need to do is spare a couple of minutes to vote for us and we could receive up to £25,000 to help fund our members’ weekend next year.

In 2017, we celebrate our 30th birthday and we want to mark the occasion by holding a national event to bring together families from across the UK and Ireland who have been affected by retinoblastoma.

The weekend will give people a chance to meet each other and CHECT staff, share experiences, renew acquaintances and make new friends. It will be an action packed event with activities for all ages and interests, including sports, arts and crafts.

Winning the award from Aviva would go a huge way towards helping to fund this event and with hundreds of projects bidding for the funding across the UK, we can’t do it without you. We need as many people as possible to cast their vote for us.

The voting window is open until Friday 18 November. Anyone can vote, regardless of whether they are an Aviva customer and it only takes a couple of minutes.

All you need to do is register online and cast your vote. Every voter gets up to 10 votes and can vote for the same project every time or a mixture. The projects with the most votes receive the grants.

Please do ask your family and friends to vote for CHECT too. Thanks so much for your support!
