Family meet-ups

CHECT provide a fun day out with time to explore the venue, come together for lunch and an activity, as well as hosting the CHECT Champion awards! There is always time for the children to play together and for parents to chat with other families as well as relax and enjoy the day.

Online meet-ups

These vary from topic-based information sessions with guest speakers, to member meet-ups to socialise and access peer support.

Teen & Young Adult meet-ups

CHECT provide a space for teenagers and young people that have been affected by retinoblastoma to come together in a relaxed environment to socialise and take part in a fun activity that’s accessible to all!

We’ll have lunch together, enjoy a range of activities in the museum and celebrate our CHECT Champions.

Recently crowned European Museum of the Year 2025, Manchester Museum is full of incredible stories and activities made for families to help you take a deep dive into some of the most fascinating objects on display from the natural world and human cultures.

Come join us for the CHECT Christmas party

The Brady Arts and Community Centre is just around the corner from the Royal London Hospital and it’s where we’re holding a Christmas party for the families we support.

Join us from 11am till 2pm for a Christmas-themed children’s party package! It’s the ultimate festive extravaganza, packed with merry-making magic, jolly entertainment, and endless joy. Bring your own packed lunch, Christmas jumpers are optional!
