CHECT meet-ups

Family meet-ups

CHECT provide a fun day out with time to explore the venue, come together for lunch and an activity, as well as hosting the CHECT Champion awards! There is always time for the children to play together and for parents to chat with other families as well as relax and enjoy the day.

Online meet-ups

These vary from topic-based information sessions with guest speakers, to member meet-ups to socialise and access peer support.

Teen & Young Adult meet-ups

CHECT provide a space for teenagers and young people that have been affected by retinoblastoma to come together in a relaxed environment to socialise and take part in a fun activity that’s accessible to all!

Adult meet-ups

CHECT provide a space for adults that have been affected by retinoblastoma to come together in a relaxed environment to chat and take part in a fun activity that’s accessible to all!

Up at the O2 - Teen and Young Adult event

Are you aged 11–24 and up for an exciting challenge?  

We’d love you to join us for a climb over the iconic O2 in London on the 18th of April from 11:30 till 15:00.  

What to expect:

  • A fun, safe, fully guided climb (bring a friend or sibling if you would like!) 
  • The chance to meet others who’ve had retinoblastoma. 
  • Time to chat, laugh, and make new friends. 
  • Incredible views from the top of the O2. 
  • And once we’ve got both feet back on the ground, a pizza together afterwards! 

It’s only £5 per person and tickets are limited — sign up by 28th February 2026. 

Please note: Drop off and pick up place for parents will be circulated nearer the time.
