We’re incredibly grateful to Kriti, Armanie, and Aazmeen for courageously sharing their experiences with retinoblastoma on the BBC. Kriti, at just eight years old, has already attended over 200 appointments to treat and monitor this rare eye cancer, which has affected three generations in her family. Kriti’s sister Armanie discusses what it was like to see her sister go through retinoblastoma, while mum Aazmeen reflects on the period, how CHECT has supported her and her family and her own experiences of retinoblastoma. We’re thrilled that CHECT is a beneficiary of BBC Children in Need. Their generous support helps to fund support work for the next three years, helping us provide vital support, while they also help us to raise awareness about retinoblastoma in the below clip. Catch Kriti’s inspiring story on the BBC.
