Members of an Essex golf club have raised more than £5,000 to help families affected by retinoblastoma.
The Three Rivers Golf Club in Purleigh chose us as their charity of the year and held a number of events throughout the year to fundraise for us.
There was a charity golf day in July, a quiz night, raffles and competitions, as well as some generous donations, with the total amount raised £5,377.
The Childhood Eye Cancer Trust was chosen as charity of the year by golf captain Caroline Crispin. Thank you so much to Caroline and everyone at the golf club who helped to raise this phenomenal amount – we really appreciate it!
