Payroll Giving
Payroll Giving (also known as Give as You Earn) is one of the easiest and most tax-efficient ways to support the Childhood Eye Cancer Trust. By donating directly from your salary, you can help support anyone affected by retinoblastoma and contribute towards vital research – all the while making the most of tax relief benefits.

The benefits of payroll giving
- Your donation is deducted before tax, meaning it costs you less while CHECT receives the full amount. For example, a £10 donation only costs you £8 (or just £6 if you are a higher-rate taxpayer), but CHECT receives the full amount!
- Once set up, your donation is automatically deducted from your salary so there’s no need to remember monthly payments.
- You can choose how much you want to give, and you can adjust or stop your donation at any time.
How to Get Started
1.
Check with your employer to see if they have a Payroll Giving scheme already in place. If they do, ask them to set up your donation to the Childhood Eye Cancer Trust. If they don’t, encourage them to set one up!
2.
If your employer doesn’t have a scheme, you can easily register through a Payroll Giving provider.
3.
Choose how much you would like to donate each payday.
4.
Your regular support will help us to continue to offer support to all those affected by retinoblastoma for as long as they need us. Thank you.
