The 50km Your Way Challenge!

Take part in our 50km Your Way challenge this September in recognition of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. The idea is simple and flexible: complete 50 kilometres in any way you choose throughout the month of September to represent approximately 50 children diagnosed a year with the childhood eye cancer retinoblastoma. You can walk, run, cycle, swim or even skate – whatever you decide!

How you can participate

  • Sign Up: Register to take part.
  • Choose Your Activity: Decide how you want to complete your 50km.
  • Fundraise: Set up your JustGiving page using the link shared with you and share your challenge with friends, family and colleagues to raise funds for CHECT.
  • Track Your Progress: Keep track of your progress and share your milestones with us.
  • Celebrate: Join us in celebrating our collective achievements and the difference we’re making to the families affected by retinoblastoma (Rb).

Why Participate

  • Support CHECT: CHECT is the only UK charity that supports everyone affected by retinoblastoma, and we need your help to continue supporting those who need us.
  • Stay Active: It’s a great way to stay fit and healthy, and to challenge yourself towards a meaningful goal.
  • Team Building: Why not get the whole family involved in a relay or with your colleagues as part of a team building exercise.
  • For every £150 raised, we’ll be giving away a pair of limited-edition CHECT shoelaces and for every £300 raised, you will receive our amazing CHECT technical t-shirt!
