All of the staff at the Childhood Eye Cancer Trust and all those individuals and families that we are able to help and support would like to take this opportunity, during trustees week, to thank our wonderful group of trustees for their commitment, their support, their insights, their energy and their guidance.
At CHECT we are extremely fortunate to have a very special group of trustees for whom no request is too much. Not only do the majority of trustees have direct personal or family experience of a retinoblastoma diagnosis but they also have an incredible array of professional experience and skills from education to health and social care, to finance, to IT, to operations, to strategy, to law and HR.
Our trustees are not remunerated, they give their time and expertise to ensure that we are able to make a positive difference to those affected by retinoblastoma both today and tomorrow.
We are extremely grateful to each and every one of them.
