The Childhood Eye Cancer Trust relies on the amazing generosity of our corporate partners to help fund our vital work. If your company would like to support us in any way, we’d really love to hear from you. Please email Eve Holdsworth, our Fundraising Manager, at email@example.com or call 020 7377 5578.
Ways your company can help
We know how important it is for our corporate relationships to be mutually beneficial and we work hard to understand the individual needs of our partners to ensure they are met.
However you choose to support us, our small and friendly team will work closely with you to make sure that you and your employees’ experience is fulfilling and rewarding.
Here are some ways that you could support us:
- Make CHECT your charity of the year
- Employee fundraising / team challenge events
- Payroll giving
- Gifts in kind
If you would like to talk about any of these, or you have your own ideas about how you’d like to support us, please get in touch.
If you’d like to encourage your colleagues to raise funds for CHECT, there are lots of ways that you can get people involved. Here are some ideas:
- Organise a cake bake
- Ask if you can put a CHECT collection box on the front desk
- Have a Christmas jumper day
- Sponsored “give it up” events – can your colleagues go a whole day without tea?
- Quiz – get everyone together after work for a quiz night
For more information please get in touch to request our fundraising pack. We can also provide posters and leaflets about CHECT for you to use to promote your fundraising.
Here are some of the ways our fantastic corporate partners have been helping to make a difference to the lives of babies, children and their families affected by retinoblastoma – whether by fundraising, volunteering or raising awareness of this little known condition.
Our relationship with Vision Express started in 2010 and continues to be hugely successful, having a huge impact on all areas of our work. As well as raising vital funds for us, the staff at Vision Express have helped us to raise awareness of retinoblastoma and its signs and symptoms.

Global agency Wunderman selected CHECT as its charity of the year for 2014/15 and 2015/16. The creative team has produced an innovative and award-winning interactive poster for the charity to raise awareness about the signs and symptoms of retinoblastoma.
A social media campaign and supporting video ensured this poster and its message has been seen by over 1.1 million people worldwide, with millions tweeting the signs and symptoms of retinoblastoma and spreading the word via Facebook and Twitter. A number of the staff have joined the Give As You Earn scheme and others have participated in holding cake bakes, raffles, fun runs and the London Marathon.
BBMV is a joint venture comprising of Balfour Beatty, Morgan Sindall and Vinci Construction. BBMV chose CHECT as its charity of the year in 2013 and is continuing that support throughout the lifetime of the Crossrail works in Whitechapel. The company’s help proved invaluable in 2014 when a team assisted with our move to new offices, not only organising the move for us but also decorating the office, building much needed storage facilities and securing office furniture for us.
Throughout the partnership BBMV has answered requests for administration help when CHECT has had events or projects to complete. Staff have also held fundraising events including a very successful quiz night.
