Company support

Supporting CHECT

The Childhood Eye Cancer Trust relies on the amazing generosity of our corporate partners to help fund our vital work. If your company would like to support us in any way, we’d really love to hear from you. Please email our Fundraising Manager, at fundraising@chect.org.uk or call 020 7377 5578.

Ways your company can help

We know how important it is for our corporate relationships to be mutually beneficial and we work hard to understand the individual needs of our partners to ensure they are met.

However you choose to support us, our small and friendly team will work closely with you to make sure that you and your employees’ experience is fulfilling and rewarding.

Here are some ways that you could support us:

  • Make CHECT your charity of the year
  • Employee fundraising / team challenge events
  • Payroll giving
  • Gifts in kind

If you would like to talk about any of these, or you have your own ideas about how you’d like to support us, please get in touch.

For employees

If you’d like to encourage your colleagues to raise funds for CHECT, there are lots of ways that you can get people involved. Here are some ideas:

  • Organise a cake bake
  • Ask if you can put a CHECT collection box on the front desk
  • Have a Christmas jumper day
  • Sponsored “give it up” events – can your colleagues go a whole day without tea?
  • Quiz – get everyone together after work for a quiz night

For more information please get in touch to request our fundraising pack. We can also provide posters and leaflets about CHECT for you to use to promote your fundraising.

Current and past partners

Here are some of the ways our fantastic corporate partners have been helping to make a difference to the lives of babies, children and their families affected by retinoblastoma – whether by fundraising, volunteering or raising awareness of this little known condition.

Wunderman

Global agency Wunderman selected CHECT as its charity of the year for 2014/15 and 2015/16. The creative team has produced an innovative and award-winning interactive poster for the charity to raise awareness about the signs and symptoms of retinoblastoma.

A social media campaign and supporting video ensured this poster and its message has been seen by over 1.1 million people worldwide, with millions tweeting the signs and symptoms of retinoblastoma and spreading the word via Facebook and Twitter. A number of the staff have joined the Give As You Earn scheme and others have participated in holding cake bakes, raffles, fun runs and the London Marathon.

Vision Express

Vision Express was a valued partner of CHECT from 2010 to 2023, making a significant impact across all aspects of our work. In addition to raising essential funds for us, the Vision Express staff played a crucial role in generating awareness about retinoblastoma and its signs and symptoms.
